The link at the bottom of the page will take you to a live Google Map which contains the route and detailed directions of the route. Remeber you can use Google Street to get a preview of any sections of the route.
This is the shortest of the suggested ride outs but one on which there many places to stop and enjoy the atmosphere. The other links will provide information that will be usefull along the way.
When you leave the Rugby Club head for Stirling then to Callander on the A84 https://www.visitscotland.com/info/towns-villages/callander-p235441
Leave Callander on the A84 north, at Kilmahog take left on to the A821 past the Lade Inn http://www.theladeinn.com/ continue along Loch Venachar to Brig o' Turk http://www.byreinn.co.uk/ after which you will have the option to take a stop at the east end of Loch Katrine before continuing along "The Dukes Pass" to Aberfoyle. When you arrive in Aberfoyle take right onto the B829 and head to Stronachlachar. This is a single track road so take care and best to ride only in small groups. The road is a dead end taking you to either Inversnaid on the east side of Loch Lomond or Stronachlacher on the west side of Loch Katrine where you will find the Pier Cafe.
After relaxing for a while here head back down the road to Aberfoyle, continue through Aberfoyle and take a left on to the A81 past the Lake of Mentith (the only "Lake" in Scotland!) and then on the A873 through Ruskie and back to Stirling then back to the Rugby Club.
Enjoy the experience of the Trossachs and send us some nice photos for the gallery
It will be worth while checking out the map and the links at home so you plan which locations along the route you want to spend a bit of time at.
