Optimistically a provisional booking has been made at Resolis village hall, some 8 miles west of Cromarty for a weekend of Guzzi “mingling”.
Date: Sept 10th - 12th 2021.
The booking is now confirmed with the hall and now includes the Friday night 10th Sept. Should it be cancelled remittances will be returned.
Costs: £15 per head.
Location: The hall is situated in a quiet rural location on the north side of the Black Isle about 15 mins drive, to the east of the A9.
57.65, -4.21 popped into Google maps or Tom Tom etc., should give you the location.
Amenities within hall: use of community hall, kitchen, toilets, however there are no showers. The adjacent playing field will be used for camping. The hall must be locked from 1 am until 8 am due to hall insurance purposes. Alternative overnight toilet facilities are being costed. This hall is (usually) used in June by the Buzzards M/C group and has been popular in the past for many rallies.
Food & Drink: self catering - there is use of kitchen facilities (limited plates and no cutlery!). If sufficient interest is shown then a local mobile pizza unit, or similar, may be enticed on site for the evening of the 11th. Presently awaiting responses to enquiries.
A large, somewhat “bespoke” gas BBQ, is available for use - at our own risk.
Nearest pubs and shops are some 6 miles away at Cromarty, Culbokie, and Fortrose / Rosemarkie.
Those wishing to take part in the alt-Raduno must
Tickets will be issued in early August 2021. Bookings will be taken until 31st July 2021. Incomplete or unclear booking forms & cheques will be returned.
Due to stewarding requirements the number of attendees will be clamped to 30 at this time. However should the event prove more popular the event may be scaled up to a maximum of 50.
Should the event be cancelled due to C19 then your cheque will be returned. If you have to withdraw however, there will be no guarantee of reimbursement within 28 days of event start date i.e. after Aug 13th 2021.
Due to MGCGB and hall insurance policies only members of the MGCGB, and one accompanying partner (for whom the member must agree to take full responsibility), can be accepted.
There is no reduced fee for minors.
Unaccompanied non MGCGB members may “day visit” but use of hall facilities and camping area by them will not permitted.
This event will rely on assistance from participants to control and clean up after the event.
Flexibility is the key to events during the pandemic and concerted attempts will be made to keep everyone informed as the organisation proceeds - or doesn’t.
